The Orange County Department of Environment, Agriculture, Parks and Recreation will host the annual Halloween Spooktacular at the Central Recreation Center, 300 W. Tryon Street.
The recreation division invites everyone to put on their best halloween costume and join the fun at Spooktacular! Free activities include a costume contest and kids arts anc crafts. Tickets will be sold for other activities for 50 cents to $3.
While ghostly attendance from the adjacent cemetery is not guaranteed, the annual concert of spooky music by Vlad the Impaler at Hillsborough Presbyterian Church remains a great mood-setter for the Halloween holiday. The thirty-minute program will be presented in the
FREE event at the Daylight Project Space, 121 W. Margaret Lane: Hot cider, hot dogs, BYOBlanket and Beverage.

Two performances of this exciting Hillsborough holiday tradition will be held on Thursday, December 13 and Friday, December 14, at 7:30pm. Both performances will be at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, 210 St. Mary's Rd., Hillsborough.
