Holiday Bazaar at Pinewoods Montessori
Celebrate the season with Pinewoods Montessori! We welcome the entire community to enjoy festivities and fun, including:

Carols & Cocoa
Join the Burwell School Historic Site for cider, cocoa, and children's activities before watching the Annual Holiday Parade from the front lawn.
Then enjoy Christmas carols performed by the Ebenezer Baptist Church choir at 12:30pm in the Burwell House South Parlor.

25th Annual Candlelight Home Tour
The 25th annual Hillsborough Candlelight Home Tour is Sunday, December 4 from Noon – 6 pm. The tour showcases prominent homes and structures built by Hillsborough brick mason John Berry (August 18, 1798-January 11, 1870) who became one of the most respected builders in the antebellum Piedmont. All will be exquisitely decorated for the holiday season.
The 2011 Candlelight Home Tour stops include the following:
Nutcracker on Ice
Come to the Triangle SportsPlex, located at 101 Meadowlands Dr., on December 10th to see the Nutcracker on Ice. Performances will be held at 12pm and 5pm. Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for children ages 12 and younger.
"A Christmas Carol"
Join the Burwell School Historic Site and St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church for the 10th year of Allan Gurganus’ and Michael Malone’s performance of Charles Dickens' timeless Victorian tale, "A Christmas Carol!"
Two performances of this exciting Hillsborough holiday tradition will be held on Thursday, December 8 and Friday, December 9, at 7:30pm. Both performances will be at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, 210 St. Mary's Rd., Hillsborough.
Town Tree Lighting
Join Hillsborough's mayor and others in the lighting of the Town Tree to celebrate the holiday season. The Orange Community Players will kick off the event with Christmas carols, and Mrs. Claus will be there to read "The Night Before Christmas."
Event occurs on the Old County Courthouse lawn, at the corner of E. King and Churton streets.
Pinewoods Montessori Fall Festival
Pinewoods Montessori school is hosting a Fall Festival for children and their parents from 5pm - 7pm on Friday October 28. There will be a bouncy house, face painting, music, games and more. $5 per child. Costumes encouraged! 109 Millstone Drive Hillsborough NC 27278 www.pinewoodsmontessori.com
