The Bulltown Strutters were organized to liven up Hillsborough's first Handmade Puppet Parade several years ago. The group has grown to around 20 members, and this New Orleans-style second parade jazz band is in constant demand. Join them from 6:30-8:30pm for a Last Fridays celebration on Tryon St. at Hillsborough Presbyterian Church, where the scoops of ice cream will be replaced by scoops of blueberries for this month. Wear your parade costume if you like as they will encourage you to join in the march.

Johnson's Crossroad has been described by friends and fans as everything from Appalachian Soul" to "Hillbilly Metal."
