On Tuesday, February 28th, the Alliance will hold its biannual Brand Ambassador training program. Designed for business owners, employees, and anyone in the area who has contact with visitors, the program provides a resource for thorough and consistent visitor information about our town. The goal is for tourists to enjoy their visit and want to return.
Each Brand Ambassador session lasts for an hour in the morning or afternoon. We can accommodate up to 15 people per session. It is held at different tourist attractions around town. The program features an educational component, a question and answer session, and a listserv of program participants for future Brand Ambassador updates. All participants will be given an Ambassador Guide notebook which will include a list of shops, restaurants, and hotels, information about local historic sites, recreational opportunities, maps, a brief history of Hillsborough, and a list of important phone numbers and contact information.
The next session will be held on Tuesday afternoon, February 28th, at the Orange County Historical Museum, 201 N. Churton St. from 12:00 - 1:00 pm. Due to limited space, advance reservations are required. The deadline to register is Tuesday, February 14th.
