Hillsborough, NC -  The Downtown Merchants of Historic Hillsborough [DTMHH] are pleased to announce the Fall date for their ever-popular “Ladies' Night Out” event.  The event will be held Thursday, November 17th from 6 - 9 pm throughout the Hillsborough Historic downtown area.

Join the DTMHH and “BRING THE SEASON”!    Let us help you get your seasonal party started!

Bring your best holiday razzle-dazzle, Bring your list of who has been naughty and who has been nice, Bring your shopping panache, Bring your Girlfriends, Bring your wish list, Bring yourself!

This year, our overall theme of “Bring the Season“, is to share the joy and warmth of a hometown season and extend that warmth throughout the community.  Part of that warmth is to  bring a donation for our local food banks.  Every merchant will offer a drop-box for collection of non-perishable food items.  Bring cans, jars or boxes - but most importantly,  bring something to brighten someone’s holiday meal.  Support the season through giving, sharing and caring

New this season:  Join merchants at the Mill District on South Nash Street, in addition to merchants in the Historic Downtown District!  All participating merchants will be offering special extended hours and lots of attention for you!   Ask merchants for a “Hint, Hint” card so you can take home some great ideas for your loved-ones who may be wondering, “What can I get her…?”

Bring a delicious Holiday Sweet Treat to enter in the “Bring the Season Best of the Best Contest”!  Pies, cakes, cookies; anything sweetie, treatie and homemade can be entered!  Contest will be held at THE DEPOT at HILLSBOROUGH STATION at 246 South Nash Street.   Bring your sweet goods there!  Curb-side drop off is available from 4:00 pm.  A panel of celebrity judges will taste and select the “Bring the Season Best of the Best”.   Be sure and bring your entry in a non-returnable pan, plate or basket.

Holiday Party wardrobe is optional;  but what better reason to explore downtown Hillsborough in your party dress, rhinestones, velvet or other party accessories - while you shop the exciting and unique shops.

Ladies Night Out is sponsored by the Downtown Merchants of Historic Hillsborough and supported in part by a grant from the Hillsborough Tourism Board.  The DTMHH is a 501(c)3 whose mission is to preserve and promote commerce in Historic Hillsborough through community service.  Visit their website for more information:
