Durham Symphony Orchestra offers Free “Pops in the Park” Concert

The Durham Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Maestro William Henry Curry, with special guest conductor, Wayne Wyman will hold their annual Pops in the Park Concert series  titled “Classical Thunder: 1812 Overture, West Side Story, and more”.

In the event of rain, the concert will be held at Cameron Park Elementary School.

An Instrument Petting Zoo courtesy of  High Strung Violins & Guitarswill be open 30 minutes before each concert starts and for 30 minutes after they end. The Instrument Petting Zoo is a great opportunity for budding musicians of all ages to learn what it feels like to play a variety of stringed instruments.
